Pregnant

Pregnant Moments

Having a baby is always a special time in a mom’s life. If you’re expecting or know someone who is, the MOMent messages below will guide you through.

Quitting Is Beautiful

Your sweet baby-to-be is the perfect reason to quit smoking. Call +1 (800) 784-8660 or text QUIT to 47848 for free help. You can do this.

A Good Feeling

When you're pregnant, your usual comfort foods can make you feel awful. Choose foods that will help you-and baby thrive. You're on a magical journey.

Eating For 1 Not 2

When you're pregnant, all your baby-to-be needs is an extra 200-500 calories a day. That's just an extra sandwich and banana for you a day. Make a decision to enjoy this special time in life by indulging in good foods for you and baby.

Unload Your Stress

When we're stressed, we tend to overeat. So call a friend and go walking instead. Talk, walk and kiss your stress goodbye, Mom. Just for today, choose joy.

Will Power

It's so tempting to indulge when pregnant. We have to rise above those fries or ice cream and strive for healthy weight gain. Pregnancy is only 266 days. You can do it, Mom.

The More You Know

If you're related to someone with Type 2 Diabetes, you're more apt to have gestational diabetes. Protect your baby and ask your doctor to walk you through this sacred time in your life.

The Perfect Amount

Prenatal vitamins are essential for a healthy baby-to-be. But more is not better. Just take as directed and relax. You've got this, Mom. Baby to mom

You're Amazing

You're doing all the right things for your baby-to-be, even when you're tired or it's hard. We are so behind you 100%. Rock on Mom! Your baby's soul celebrates you.

3 Cheers For You

Now is not the time to drink alcohol. Instead sip juice or seltzer with lime, lemons or oranges. And toast your baby's health. Your decision impacts your child's grand adventure called life.

Go For The Grain

Instead of white bread and pasta, eat healthy whole grains for your baby. Your little one will be happy. (Your bowels will be, too.)

Veg It Up

For each mini meal, make half your plate a fruit or veggie. It's the right kind of food you and baby need for healthy weight gain. There're a million ways to be a great mom. This is one of them.

Walk And Talk

When you see friends, be active while you chat rather than just sitting and eating. It's better for you, your baby and your BFFs too! It's never too early to celebrate the life you're creating.

Slow Down And Savor

Eat slowly and you'll feel fuller-and you won't be to likely to over-eat. Put your fork down and sip water between bites. Don't forget to celebrate your growing creation, too.

Breakfast Is The Best

Your little one needs a good jumpstart for the day and so do you. Eating breakfast is a great way to say good morning to your baby-and can help with your pregnancy glow.

Go For Low

Cheese and milk are so good for you. Do one better and get used to low-fat dairy items. They taste just as good, and you'll achieve another goal!

Swim Time

Water aerobics are so good when you're pregnant. The more you move, the lower your risk for gestational diabetes. So make some waves, Mommy! Your baby is a miracle in the making.

Go Naked

Instead of high-calorie fried food, go for baked chicken without skin or not-so-loaded potatoes. It's healthier for you and baby. Still yummy! Your devotion to your health - and baby - is admirable.

You Rule

You have the strength to make sure you gain only a healthy amount of weight. So put your fork down between bites and sip water. It takes courage to make changes that matter, but you're in control of this one.

Grow Baby Grow

The best foods to eat when pregnant are fruits, veggies, beans, meat and whole-grain bread. They're the best fuel to create your little miracle.

H2Oh Yes!

Drink a small glass of juice and 6-8 glasses of water a day. Water keeps pregnant you feeling vital and alive. Bonus

Be Choosy With Cheese

Soft cheese like brie, bleu and feta is dangerous for moms-to-be. Go for harder cheeses and you and your little one will feel great. It's a small thing to give up for the adventure of a lifetime.

Mmm, Donuts

When you're super-tempted, take a deep breath. Step away. Drink lots of water. Think about your baby. Walk it off. You can do this Mom. You won't remember those temping foods ten minutes later.

Fruit Is Friendly

With loads of fiber-rich skin, fruit can make you and your bowels feel peachy-keen. When you feel comfortable, so does your baby.

Mini Meals For Mini Me

Instead of 3 major meals a day, eat 4 to 6 mini meals. It's better for your baby and relieves heartburn and discomfort. Just right. Another easy way to enjoy your pregnancy journey.

A Good Dose

When you take prenatal vitamins, you help prevent possible birth defects. It's an easy thing to do and means the world to your baby's health. Protecting your baby's future is the essence of motherhood.

The 25+ Club

If you're over 25, you're more likely to develop gestational diabetes. Create an exercise plan with your doctor and be a healthy mom. Congratulations on being a mom of action.

Get Crackin

Love eggs over easy or sunny-side up? Be sure to cook them till they're hard. It's so much safer for you and your little one. Eggcellent! (Like you, mom .)

Cease The Grease

When you're pregnant, greasy fries, chicken and burgers can make you feel sick. Go for healthy whole grains and veggies and feel great! Every positive choice is a testament to your love.

Bologna Blues

Steer clear of processed deli meats when you're pregnant. Opt for PB&J on whole wheat instead. It's safer for you and your little one. You have the power to transform your baby's future.

Sorry, Seconds

Fill your plate and then put the rest of the food away so you won't be tempted for seconds. Then take a walk. Have a plan and be empowered. Never second-guess the power of walking away from food.

See Ya, Stress

When we stress out, we over-eat. When we over-eat, we gain excess weight. So grab a friend and walk and talk it out. You might even laugh! Your baby loves a stress-free home.

Let's Walk Mom

Instead of going for ice cream, ask your BFF for a walk instead. It'll be good for you, her, and your baby who enjoys the ride. Bonus points for singing to your baby!

Digest The Best

If you're feeling constipated, eating a fruit or veggie can really help to ease digestion. It's great for the apple of your eye too. Who knew carrots and oranges would be your new best friends?

Snack Attack Plan

Pack emergency healthy snacks in your bag like grapes or a banana. So when hunger strikes, you aren't begging for super-size fries. Your baby sends a high five, mom!

Take Note

Want to know what and how much you're eating? Write it down. Then you can see what you need to work on. And where you're super-successful. There's a special sweetness to feeling in control.

Mini Strength

Have 4-6 mini meals a day and you'll avoid that frantic I'm starving moment that causes over-eating. Be cool, calm and in-control Mom. Your baby celebrates all you do to be amazing.

Get Moving

Exercise isn't easy when you're pregnant. But it keeps your joints from hurting. And you gain strength for your baby. That's a beautiful reason. It shows you love your little miracle.

Eating For 2 Is A Myth

You're just eating for yourself and a tiny baby-to-be. So don't double your portions. Eat smart and watch your love multiply. The best way to lose weight after your pregnancy is to not gain too much now.

New Lifestyle

Even if you ate a lot of junk food before you were pregnant, now's a perfect time to eat healthier. New baby, new leaf. It's a privilege to provide a safe and happy environment for your baby.

Well Done

Eating rare meat or poultry is a no-no when pregnant and can cause bacterial food poisoning. Ordering it well done is a win-win for you and baby. Well done, mom!

Be Strong

Exercise minimizes the risk of gestational diabetes. So walk, do yoga, climb the stairs. When your heart beats stronger, so will your baby's. Make it an occasion by counting the number of ways you're showing your baby love.

Kid Yourself

Your 4-6 small meals a day need to be small. Try using a kid-sized plate and glass. It's just the right amount for you and baby-to-be. No kidding-eating smaller amounts matters to you and your baby.

Whole Lot Better

Whole grain pasta and bread make you feel full and less hungry. And your little one needs these precious nutrients. Everybody wins. Look into the mirror and say "I'm a winner!"

Unhappy Meal

When you're pregnant, fried food and sugary sodas can make your digestive system unhappy. Eat healthy and you and your baby will feel so good! Making smart choices is a big part of your amazing pregnancy journey.

True Comfort

Every time you choose to eat healthy for your growing baby, you know deep inside that you're already being a loving mom. ;-) How does it feel to be a success?

Mommyhood Starts Now

Being pregnant is the first step towards being a super-dedicated mommy. Show your love by eating right each day. You have the power, Mom!

Mini Success

Retrain yourself to 4-6 mini meals a day instead of 3 main meals. You and your little one need these small bursts of healthy energy ;-) After all, you're making a miracle .

Say Hi To High Fiber

Whole-grain bread, cereal & pasta can help ease constipation. It's like the ultimate comfort food when you're pregnant. ;-) Check this pesky problem off your "wish it would go away" list.

Good 4U Mom

Being pregnant doesn't mean seconds are a good idea. To keep from being tempted, put the extra helpings away - in the fridge. ;-) Your baby admires you and your determination.

Feel Fiberific

When you're constipated, eating a fruit or veggie can really help. The fiber helps you and your little one digest. There, that's better!

Put Your Heart Into It

Be the engine of awesomeness for your baby. Eat healthy, drink lots of water, and exercise while you're pregnant. Incredible changes can happen when you take control of your life. You can do it, Mom!

Who's Boss

Always have a healthy snack with you, like almonds or apple slices, so you don't need to hit the drive-thru. You're in charge!

It's Natural

Instead of fries or chips, fill half your plate with fruit and veggies. If you can pick it off a plant, pick it for yourself and baby ;-) Naturally reassuring for moms who want the best for their little miracles.

Daily Reassurance

When you take your prenatal vitamins every day, you feel good knowing you're helping your baby be as healthy as can be. Keep your vision on the finish line and that beautiful baby that already loves you.

You Have The Power

You can give your baby an amazing head start by eating healthy whole grains, fruits and veggies while you're pregnant. Nobody gives you power-you take it yourself. And pregnancy is a great time to be powerful.

You Can Do It

Being pregnant is sometimes hard and uncomfortable. It's easier to avoid exercise or to over-eat. Don't give up. You're stronger than you think.

Journal It

Write down everything you eat today. Writing it down makes you think twice about eating it. Don't believe the little voices that say you are powerless with food. Talk back! Stay in control and be super-proud of yourself.

Take It Slow

If you eat slower, you'll eat less and feel fuller so you won't gain too much too fast. And you'll digest more easily. That's good for you and your baby. You'll have more time to reflect on your love for baby.

Fruit Is On Your Side

When you're pregnant, fried foods and sugary drinks can give you heartburn. But fruit makes you and your baby feel good and keeps weight gain in check. You'll thank yourself after pregnancy for not gaining too much weight now .

Get Pumped!

If you're Black, Hispanic, Asian or Native American, you're at greater risk for gestational diabetes. So be an active mom-to-be. Bonus!

Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding Moments

Breastfeeding is a journey of ups and downs, the MOMents messages for the breastfeeding mom will help put you at ease about milk supply, 24/7 support and much more.

Congratulations Mom!

Of course it will be challenging, but it's one of the most rewarding times of your life. Dreams can come true!

Say When

Here's how you know if your baby's getting enough breast milk. After Day 5, he should have at least 5 wet diapers and 3-5 poopy diapers/day. Who knew feeling secure could be as easy as counting diapers?

It's Not Automatic

Remind yourself that every mother has to learn how to breastfeed. You're not alone. We're here to help. Call us at +1 (888) 439-8970. Believe in yourself. You are an amazing mother!

Over Here Baby

If she turns her head away, gently stroke her cheek on the side nearest your breast. Coo and smile at your baby before trying and latch on again. Great teamwork, Mom!

Open Wide

When her mouth is open wide like a yawn, that's the time to pull her to your breast quickly and gently. Soon you both will do this naturally. Isn't it a wonderful feeling to know you can provide everything she needs and wants?

Breastfeed and Relax

When you breastfeed comfortably you can really enjoy bonding with your baby. Learn how. Call a WIC expert at 888-439-8970 for free, helpful tips. We're also experts at cheering moms through those first challenging days of motherhood.

Big Gulps = Good

When your baby drinks in long, slow gulps, you're doing everything perfectly. It's the most giving moment a mother has with her newborn.

Some Latch Quickly

Some babies latch on quickly and some don't. It may take several times at each feeding to latch on right. Try to be patient and soon it'll become second nature. No worries-success is just around the corner.

Bond With Me

Breastfeeding is one of the most special (and healthy) things you can do for your baby. Who knew that doing something so heroic would feel like pure love?

You'll Be Hungry Too

A nursing mom often gets hungry when her baby does. Go for nutritious snacks like apple slices, cheese and crackers. The power of family meals starts early.

Rewarding For You

Feeding your baby store-bought formula doesn't come close to the feeling of emotional payback that breastfeeding gives you. Physical closeness reassures both of you that your love continues to grow.

How Often?

Your sweet baby needs breastmilk at least 8-12 times within 24 hours. It's easier to relax when you know she's getting enough. But the payoff is more than nutritional.

You're Not Alone

WIC experts are breastfeeding moms just like you. Call us 24/7 at 877-271-6455. We're happy to answer any question you have and cheer you on. Keep us on speed dial.

Extra Thirsty

Remember, breastfeeding increases your need for fluids to make milk. So guzzle all the H2O you can. Just like love, you can't get too much.

Hungry Again?

Whenever your baby is hungry, you can breastfeed almost any time and almost anywhere. You're always empowered and confident that you're doing right by your baby.

A Latch On Day?

Was today a latch day? Yes? Great! That's a huge plus. Remember to breathe, rest, and rock while she looks up at you with love. More successful days are ahead.

It's Worth It

Breastfeeding can be challenging. But every time you try and succeed, your baby benefits so very much. Everything you do matters, especially breastfeeding. Thanks Mom!

It's Always Free

Unlike packaged formula and baby food, breastfeeding costs nothing! And it's the best nutrition for your baby. Yay you!

1 Or 2? Up To You

It's good to offer each breast to your baby at each feeding. Sometimes he may only want one. Fine. Just offer the other one next time. Two ways to share your love.

Your Milk Is Ideal

It's super-gentle and easy for her to digest. That's one reason why she needs to be fed more often. You're so good to her.

Good Till The Last Drop

Every drop of breast milk is healthy and nutritious for your baby. You never have to question if you're doing the right thing. Nice to have one thing to check off your "great mom" list.

His Time Is Your Time

Breastfeed your baby according to his time schedule. It's not always convenient, but it will actually make it easier on you. Until stores package peace of mind, breastfeeding it your best option.

Good For You Too!

A special moment with your child, away from the hectic world, just the two of you. It's the loving bond you share. And that powerful seed of love is firmly planted in both your hearts.

We'll Come To You!

Need 1-on-1 breastfeeding help? WIC moms can schedule a free consult at the WIC Clinic or in your home. Call 888-439-8970. PS: Sorry, we don't do massages but we will make you feel better.

Awkward Is OK!

Breastfeeding isn't easy. So don't be hard on yourself. And keep practicing. It's so rewarding for both you and your baby. If you made it through pregnancy you can make it through breastfeeding.

Breast Milk Is Perfect

You never have to worry if it's made with chemicals or fillers. It's all-natural and all-healthy for your sweet baby! And the emotional bond is all-perfect too.

Breastfeeding Bonus

Did you know that breastfeeding burns 500 calories a day? Woo Hoo for you! Give a gift. Get a gift.

Connection Time

When you're breastfeeding, your baby looks right into your eyes and "says thank you" every time. Drink that in. Cherish it. You may not see that look during the teen years.

So Worth It

Breastfeeding is so worth it, but we know it's not easy. Need help? Call an expert at +1 (888) 439-8970 who knows what it's like to feel how you do right now. We love to celebrate moms like you.

The Best Part

When your baby breastfeeds, he looks up at you with love and adoration. It's a special moment that nothing else can match. Your baby seems to know that this special attachment is fleeting and wants to soak it in too.

A Deep Breath

Breastfeeding can be difficult at times. But consider how much she benefits from it. Then try it one more time. It gets easier. Really. Isn't it amazing that you're doing what women have done since the beginning of time?

Measuring Up?

Formula is just not as good and wholesome as breast milk. Chemicals can never be better than your 100% natural breast milk. And you're a 100% fabulous mom.

Today's Victory

Maybe today wasn't an easy breastfeeding day, but tomorrow will be a fresh start. Keep trying and look forward to more amazing days ahead. Don't let yesterday impact your tomorrow. You get to reinvent your story everyday. OR Tomorrow is a perfect, unspoiled day.

Good Work Mom

Breastfeeding is one of the best things you can do to make your baby happy and healthy. And dreams come true for moms like you. You go Mom!

Focus On The Good

Breastfeeding is messy and not perfect. Try to be patient and not judge yourself too harshly. You are amazing every day. OR Tomorrow is another day to be amazing.

Good Times

Breastfeeding can be a challenge. But you are a strong, loving mommy. Keep believing you can do this. And you will. Just for today, be joyful knowing your beautiful child adores you.

Eating Enough?

If your baby is filling out, growing in length, and is active and alert, it's a good sign your breastfeeding is succeeding! It's also a good sign that you're a successful mom. Yay!

Ouch! That Hurts

If you're feeling pain when you breastfeed, then remove baby from your breast and try again. If he latches on right, it shouldn't hurt. You're a success when you try again.

Quiet Please

When it's time to breastfeed, if possible, find a quiet, nurturing place to bond with your baby. It's your special time as well as hers. Moms need special time to dream big for their children.

Special Joy

Breastfeeding is certainly a commitment. But nothing can compare to these profound bonding moments you share with your little one. Those moments are forever written on your hearts.

Mirror Mirror

Need to see what you're doing right or wrong? Practice by sitting in front of a mirror when you breastfeed. Be your own best teacher. And while you're there, reflect on what an amazing mother you are.

Your Baby Loves You

A newborn can see your face clearly when you cuddle up close. Enjoy these priceless moments of wonder and joy. Can anything touch a mother's heart more than her baby's love?

Great Satisfaction

When your baby latches on correctly, it's a very exciting moment for you! Smile and look right into your baby's eyes with love.

Tears Of Joy

Being a new mommy of a breastfeeding baby can be a wonderfully emotional experience. Take time to capture this moment. The scent. The fragile fingers. The sweet smile. The feeling of pure mom success.

Gift Of Love

Breastfeeding is the best gift a mom can give her baby. It's like an overwhelming power of love for your child. And will you ever forget the sweet "thank you, mom" smile when the gurgling is done?

Simple Needs

She wants to be loved. She wants to be breastfed. She wants to be cuddled. She wants to be breastfed again. How does it feel to already be a powerful force for good in your baby's life?

Gentle Loving Care

Holding your baby close, with soft whispers and coos, smiles and winks, eyes filled with love. This is the best of breastfeeding.

Infant Moments

Hello super mom! Whether you are breastfeeding or bottle feeding, the MOMents messages below will guide you in feeding a new baby and offer support information up until the age of one year.

A Baby's Trust

When you hold and feed your baby, you encourage her to trust you above all else. It’s an amazing feeling that's beyond words.

Keep It Horizontal

Feed your baby with the bottle parallel to the floor. That way she drinks when she wants to, at her own pace. You got this, Mom!

Snuggle Time

Feeding your baby a bottle is the perfect time to bond with him. So stop the world, pick a quiet corner and enjoy your sweet little one.

Knowing What's Right

Cereal should not be added to your baby’s bottle. Her digestive track isn’t ready for it yet. Just formula or breast milk. That's good.

Bubbles Mean Troubles

Once you’ve mixed the formula, let it settle so the air bubbles can calm down. That way it won’t irritate your baby’s tummy. Or you ;-)

Remember This Mom

When you hold and feed your baby a bottle, you enjoy special one-on-one time with him. These are the memories that mean so much.

Flat Is Good

When you hold the bottle flat, without tilting, your baby will stop when he’s satisfied. So you don’t need to guess. Ahh, that feels good.

Solid Advice

Don’t put cereal in your baby’s bottle. Inhaling solid food could cause her to choke. Stick with formula and you’ll both breathe easier ;-)

Share A Meal

When she feeds from her bottle, she’s looking right back at you. It’s a special moment you won’t want to miss!

It's Okay to Cry

Crying doesn't always mean he's hungry. Touch your baby’s mouth, lips or cheeks. If he opens his mouth, he’s probably hungry. If not, guess again.

I’m Hungry, Mommy!

When he starts bending his arms to his chest and sucking on his little fists, he’s hungry. Congrats! You “heard” him correctly ;-)

6th Sense

When you hold and feed your baby, you start to learn when he’s hungry, full or sleepy. It’s a great bond that only you two share.

Good Advice

When a baby falls asleep while drinking a propped bottle, liquid still flows and can choke her when she breathes in. Show your love. Be safe.

Take Your Time

Giving your baby cereal too early can cause major problems later, like obesity or food allergies. Be the healthy-minded mom you want to be.

Just Right

Mix formula according to directions. Not too much water or too little and your baby will feel good after his meal. You will too ;-)

Mommy Intuition

When the bottle is half-empty, gently pull it away. Does he act like he's had enough? Watch, listen and see how he "tells" you ;-)

Hold It

Be sure to hold your baby while giving him a bottle. If he lies down, he could choke. Same goes for us grownups. So show the love and hold that bottle ;-)

The Full Story

Giving your baby cereal too early throws off her ability to know what “full” is. Be patient and loving and your baby will benefit greatly.

You're The Best

Did you know propping a bottle for your baby is dangerous? He can choke while sitting up or lying down. Hold him. Feed him. Love him ;-)

I'm Done, Mommy

When he spits out the nipple, seals his lips shut, or pushes the bottle away, he’s finished eating. Phew! Well done, Mom!

Bye Bye Bobble

When your baby can hold his own head steady and upright, it’s time for solid food. What a good sign he’s growing! What a milestone!

I Want That!

When your baby shows interest in your food, it’s a good sign she’s ready for cereal. These are the special milestones to look for. Yay!

I Can Sit Up Mom!

When your baby can sit up all by himself, he’s ready for solid food. It’s a moment to celebrate your good nurturing ;-)

A Spoonful of Patience

At 6 months, start trying rice cereal. Don’t be surprised if she spits it out. She’s just getting used to the texture ;-)

Garden Delight

There are so many good pureed veggies to have your baby try. Sweet potatoes, squash, carrots and more. Be a daring and darling Mom!

Graduate To Fruit

After your baby has mastered veggies, move on to some yummy pureed fruits. They’re so healthy for him, you’ll both be smiling ;-)

Juggle Fruits

Try a new fruit every 3-5 days. That's enough time to know if your baby loves it or not. Or if she’s allergic. You're a mom with a good plan!

Worth Waiting For

Introduce your baby to juice at 6 months. Always use a cup, not a bottle, so he sips it. A little goes a long way, sweet Mommy ;-)

Plan Ahead

When you hook your child early on fruits, veggies and water, you’re laying the groundwork for a really strong, healthy child. Awesome Mom!

Blah Is Beautiful

No need to add extra sugar or salt to your baby’s food. She hasn’t developed her taste buds yet. Keep it plain and perfect ;-)

1 For You, 1 For Me

Eat with your child at mealtime. It’s an incredible sense of belonging when you share a simple meal together. Now that's love.

Aww Nuts!

Peanuts and peanut butter have to wait till your little one is 2+ yrs old. It’s just not safe for her to try to swallow these yet. Mom knows best!

8 Is Great

You can introduce Table Food to your baby at 8 months. Make sure it’s soft and mashable with a fork. She's growing up so fast!

3 Is A Magic Number

Once your baby is 4-6 months, introduce a new food to him every 3 days. Every time you open a new jar, you open a whole new world of healthy possibilities. Yum!

I Can Do It Mommy

At 8 months, your baby can feed herself with Pick Up Foods like peas. Don't go larger than that. You will both be so excited.

Very Veggie

Cook your own veggies till they’re really soft, then mash them with a fork. It’s a great way to save money and share meals with your little one. Yum Mum!

Focus Your Love

When you prop a bottle for your baby while doing other things, you miss out on deepening your bond. So take a time out and enjoy your baby.

Your Baby's A Natural

He knows how much to breathe, sleep and eat. So when he’s full, he’s full. The more we listen, the better moms we can be.

Sticking His Tongue Out

It doesn’t mean he doesn’t like peas. It means he's trying to get used to this new taste, texture and smell. Stick yours out too!

Bottle-Free Bedtime

Putting your child down with a bottle can lead to painful infant ear infections. Instead, say good night with just a warm loving hug.

Family Table Fun

Bring your baby to the family table. Even if it’s just the two of you tonight. Togetherness and sharing is a beautiful thing. Enjoy it!

Boo Moo

For the 1st year, only give your baby breast milk or formula. No other kind of milk or you could cause severe dehydration. Thanks, Mom!

I'm Stuffed Mom!

When your baby is full, he’ll let you know by turning away or clamping his mouth. It's his secret language for you.

Healthy Dose

When your baby's being picky, don’t worry. Just keep offering healthy options. He’ll eat if he’s hungry and stop if he’s not.

I'm Good Mom

Your baby knows when she’s had enough food. If you try to force more, you upset her ability to know for sure. Full is good. And so are you.

Be A Role Model

When you eat veggies like a champ, your child will want to copy you. He idolizes you. Be a shining example of love and good health.

Say Cheese!

When your baby tastes a new food, the faces he makes are hilarious! Be sure and take a picture to taunt him with when he’s a teenager.

Take It Down A Notch

After year 1, your baby’s growth will slow down. That’s totally normal. So he’ll eat less. But no worries, Mom. You've got this!

Eating Together

You’re a family even if there’s just you and baby tonight. Eat together and watch her glow with a great sense of belonging.

Blech!

Today your baby doesn't like carrots for the first time in a year. This is perfectly normal. Keep offering and keep smiling. Tomorrow's a new day.

More Or Less

Now that she’s a year old, she may eat a lot one day and not a lot the next. This is normal. And you're not worried one bit.

Toddler MOMents

You are a busy super mom with a busy toddler running around and learning things so fast that it makes your head spin sometimes. These Moment messages help you keep up and know how to make the most of time when he is small.

Welcome to MOMents!

Being a mom is an amazing experience. MOMents is here to celebrate your parenting journey with inspirational, informative, uplifting and fun messages. We wrap each message in love!

Active Kids Get Ahead

Watching your child run, jump, and play will make your mom heart smile. When your child is active 6+ hours a day, he develops good coordination and better balance. A little all-star in the making.

Sleep On This

To sleep is to nourish your little one's body. When your child sleeps 10-13 hours a day including naps, he has a better chance of being at an ideal weight. If only it were that easy for the rest of us.

Table Talk Is Delicious

When you eat together, talk together. Around the table, you can be the most important voice in her little life. Table talk also cements family values and gives kids a sense of belonging.

Water Is Perfect

We drink it. We swim in it. We splash it. WATER is the best. No sugar. Nothing extra added. 100% healthy. Think water before you give sugary drinks to your child. It's just what a young (or old) body needs.

Too Sweet?

Grandmas and grandpas love our kids so much and sometime the candy bowl is an easy way to show that love. If she's treating your child to too many sweets, gently ask her to show her love with a hug or reading her a story. Sweet memories.

Princess & The Pea

All those mattresses and one tiny pea. Tell that story when you introduce peas to your child for the first time. Let her feed herself with her small fingers. You'll be so proud when she looks forward to them and amazed at her coordination too!

Catch Me If You Can

Time for play is hard to find sometimes so make a game of everything with your child. Turn off the TV and play follow-the- leader, twist and shout, and rock out to some music! Five minutes will quickly turn into ten and the laughs will echo forever.

The Almighty Nap

Naptime is as good for you as it is for your toddler. Don't be afraid to lie down and rest next to your sweet child. When your child sleeps 10-13 hours a day including naps, he's growing.

Invite Furry Guests

Mealtime is about being with friends and family. Even if the friends are imaginary. It might help to "invite" your child's stuffed animals to the table. It's a good way to stimulate story time and have fun at mealtime.

Just A Little Juice

Your child only needs 4 ounces of juice a day. His tiny body can't afford to drink too many calories. Less juice = healthier weight. Less juice=proud mom.

Show Your Love

Sure a candy bar brings a quick smile. But the best gift is a big hug and spin around the room to bring giggles of glee! Mom love beats candy love every time.

Create A Broccoli Lover

A small child looks at you and knows that whatever you do, they want to do too. Find a broccoli recipe you love and they will love it too. Imagine what a proud Mom you will be! It takes some patience and effort, but you'll feel like a rock star when it happens.

Once Upon A Time

Ending a day with your soft voice and stories from your childhood will not only put them to sleep but it will build a lasting relationship that will last forever. Your baby needs 10-13 hours a day, including naps. Cuddle time gives children a sense of security.

Be A Sneaky Success!

Dip apple slices in yogurt. Sprinkle cheese on broccoli. Be creative and get your child to love fruits and veggies! A lifetime love for fruits and veggies is a great mom legacy.

Your young child is growing so fast. To recover, he needs 10-13 hours of sleep a day. And it'll help him be an ideal weight too. Snap a photo of your sleeping toddler to share with him later

Teach your child to love drinking water instead of sugary drinks, and she'll have a super start to living a long, healthy life! You get to invent a better tomorrow for your child.

A Rewarding Experience

When your child is good, reward him with your love. Junk food just doesn't measure up to a hug, a laugh or smiles from you. It's a rewarding way to reinvent a better life for your child.

Use Your Noodle

Kids love pasta, so why not sneak in some whole-wheat pasta instead of the regular kind? It's better for her and comes in fun shapes and sizes. A no sweat way to be an amazing mom.

Junk food creates temporary joy for your child. But so can a story hour at the library. Or a piggyback ride. Love is its own reward! And the payoff is a lifetime of happy childhood memories.

New food=new toy.

Your child needs to play with it, try it and throw it around before she'll love it. Your patience is so precious. What will you say when she thanks you someday for helping her love so many foods?

Love is long-term.

Rewarding your child with junk food now creates a junk food junkie adult. Instead, reward her with love. Lucky that you have an endless supply of kisses and hugs.

Choose To Snooze

Every nap and bedtime is precious for your child. The more he sleeps, the healthier his weight. And the more time you get to rest.

Eating can be messy.

But sharing a meal with your child is a beautiful thing. Family meals = family values + fun memories.

Soda and juice are pricey. But water is free at public water fountains. So it's healthier for your child and your wallet. Who knew that being an amazing mom could be so easy?

Jack & The Bean Stock

Tell a familiar story while you introduce that new veggie to your child. You're the star of your child's life when you give her a lifelong love of veggies.

Same Good Routine

Decide what time your child should go to bed each night, and live by it. She'll be happier and have a healthier weight too. Everyone benefits by a little structure in life, including moms.

Food For Thought

When you bond with your child during mealtime, you can teach her important life lessons like "be kind to those you love." You're also letting her know just how much she matters to you.

An active child now means she'll run, catch, jump sooner and faster than her peers. Win her over with 6 hours of active play a day!

A Whole Lot Better

Give your child whole grain pasta or whole-wheat bread. They won't even know the difference and you'll get a gold star for the day! (And be the envy of other moms!)

Grandma Too Sweet?

Gently remind her that giving junk food to your child can lead to obesity. And that her love for him outweighs all the candy in the world. Then remind her how much her unconditional love changes your child's world.

When you eat with your child at the table, it's a moment to cherish. These are times you'll always remember. And your child too. Someday, your child will want to create the same experiences for her children.

ABC Race

Write each letter on a separate Post-it and place around the room. Have your child race to get them in the right order! Then spell out words like mom, love and kisses.

Your Own Sweet Treat

Reward your child with a hug, a high five, a kiss. Not candy or cookies. Love is way more valuable.

Blast Off

Have your child crouch down like a sprinter. Count down from 10 to 0. Then blast off! Race forward with the strength of a rocket blast! Keeping kids active isn't rocket science, but it sure is fun.

Crazy Legs

Every time a TV commercial shows food, have your child jump off the couch and make her legs go crazy till it's over! Mom, it's all about that crazy little thing called love.

Rockin Robin

Sing & Act Out 3 Times: Row, row, row your boat. Make your muscles strong! Flap, flap, flap your arms, like a little bird! Today, he's your little bird. Tomorrow, he'll soar like an eagle.

Push Yourself Up

Ask your child to lie face-down on the floor, push himself up and jump for a high five! 10X=10 hugs! Memories like this warm you up from the inside and stay with you forever.

Rock-N-Roll

At the park, see how many summersaults your child can do in a row. It's quite a proud accomplishment and a fun ride to boot. Mom, you rock!

Obstacle Course

At your local playground, have your child go down the slide, run around the swings, and hop on one foot to the bench for a high five from you. These memories guide your child to future success.

Summer Splash

Kids love running thru the sprinkler or under the hose. Shower her with your attention and love while she squeals with joy! A lot of moms give lip service to being active but you do it. Be proud, mom.

Pure Heart Shines

Sing & Act Out 3 Times: Row, row, row your boat. Make your muscles strong! Touch, touch, touch your toes, bend and start again! Your pure heart shines bright when you're playing with your child.

Be A Rolling Stone

Find a gentle slope in the yard or park and let your child roll down. Watch him run to the top for more! Again, Mommy! You're giving your child real and wholesome fun and family values.

Tug-O-War

Grab an old towel. Have your child tug on one end while you tug the other. Show us your muscles, Little One! Grrrrr! Loving your child gives him strength, too.

Abracadabra

Ask your child to "magically move" every time you open your eyes. Close your eyes and count to 3 each time! Don't you wish all those scattered toys could magically appear where they should be?

Unleash The Beast

Let your little one become a lion, tiger or bear right in your living room! Growl, prowl, pounce=bear hug from you! Your gifts to your little tiger are profound and lasting.

Step By Step

Have your child try to match the length of your strides while walking in the park or down the hall. Stretch and grow, Little One! (And watch with pride all that you have helped him accomplish.)

Play Invisible Chair

Have your child squat down and lean against a wall like it's an invisible chair. Count how long she can do it! When you play with your child, your love is SO visible.

Let's Play Leapfrog

Place stuffed animals around the room and have your child leap over them. High five for a perfect set of leaps! Do you feel your heart leap when you see your child so happy?

Wiggle Wiggle

When your child's in the car seat, have him wiggle his feet, then arms, then hands, then fingers, then head, then all at once. Top the silly fun off with his favorite song.

Soup Can Slalom

Create an obstacle course by placing cans of food on the floor and have your little one race around each one. Mini-moments like these give moms heartwarming memories later.

ABC Stop

Have your child jump to the ABCs. At some point, say "Stop." Ask your child to think of something that begins with that letter. Easy way to invest in your child's body and mind.

Who's Special?

Toss a ball with your child. When he catches it, ask who makes her smile? Who makes her laugh? Who makes her love? Then you do the same, telling him who makes you smile, laugh and love. We have a funny feeling that may be your ball partner.

Hug Yourself

A good stretching exercise is to have your child try to hug herself, extending her hands as far around her body as possible. And then give him the real thing-a bear hug from you.

Chair Kicks

Sitting in a chair, have your child kick each leg. Left, right, both. Left, right, both. Sing while you do it! Kick it up a notch by joining him on your own chair, mom.

Copy Mommy

Create a pattern - tap your head, heart, foot while saying "head, heart, foot." Have your child copy you. Repeat and add a body part each time. Your child loves to copy the one he loves the most!

Do The Hokey-Pokey

Play this fun and silly game with your child. Be creative. Put your left elbow in. Your right big toe in, your right ear in, etc. (Your child already knows your heart is way in.)

Feel Good Today

Have your child take a really deep breath thru his nose and blow it out his mouth. Repeat 10 times. Easy stress buster for moms and little ones.

Stand Tall

Have your child put her arms straight over her head, stand tall, and stretch to stand even taller. Hold till the count of 10. Family fun today creates adults who stand proud tomorrow.

Shoulder Shrug

Have your child raise his shoulders to his ears. Hold and count to 5. Shrug the left shoulder then the right. Repeat 10X.

Jumping Smacks

Have your child do jumping jacks and smack her hands together at the top. It's like giving herself a high five each time! Give yourself credit for helping him jump into a better future.

Jump Rope Jive

Tie one end of a rope to a rail and swing the other end. Have your child jump the rope as you spell out her name with each jump. Lots of life lessons are taught simply by playing with your child.

Play airplane

Have your child spread his arms really wide like wings. Then have him zoom all over the park. Sound effects optional! You created him to fly and his amazing flight starts now.

Walking The Dog

Don't have a pet? Bring along a stuffed animal or action figure and have your child "walk" him to give him exercise too. Smart mom. You're nurturing his imagination as well as his body.

Scissor Kicks

Have your child lie on her back and kick each leg like the blades of a scissors. Front to back then side to side. Isn't it funny how memories we cherish most are often silly ones?

Swim The Backstroke

Stand up with both arms out straight. Circle one arm all the way back then circle the other arm. Repeat and go faster! Motherhood is a noble calling and you're worthy of the challenge.

Play Laundry Basketball

Put a laundry basket in the center of the room. Have your child throw soft items like socks and stuffed animals in. You both win when you play together.

Yes & No Stretches

Have your child slowly nod as far up and down as he can. Then as far left and right as he can. Repeat 10X. Keeps car-seat bound kids happy and occupied.

Towel Pull-up

Have your child lie down holding the end of a towel. You hold the other end. Have her pull herself up to a sitting position again and again. Double bonus

Have Fun

The best exercise for your child is to just move and have FUN! Play ball, tag, hide-n-seek and dance to the beat! It's fun to be fit! A nurturing home sets the foundation for your child's successful future. Who knew it could be so fun?

Happy Heartbeat

When your child runs, jumps and plays, her heart gets happy! Have her touch her heart and count to the beat of joy! Do you feel your heart expanding with love when you have fun together?

Tumble For You

Teach your child to scrunch down low, forehead on floor, hands on either side, then slowly lift his legs to tumble over. Yay Little One! Who needs reality shows when you can have so much fun in your own home?

Move Like A Robot

Keeping arms and legs stiff, have your child lift a book, try to sit down, stand up and walk around. Sound effects optional. Shared memories are the best!

Sing & Dance

When your child does both at the same time, she exercises her body and her lungs! Sing loud and be proud! You're teaching her a great life lesson today, mom.

Plant A Garden

Even it it's just pretend, you and your child can plant seeds, water every plant, and pick as many pretend blueberries as he can! There's no pretending you are a nurturing mom. Your child picked a winner.

Pancake Flip

Pretend a pillow is a pancake and flip it in the air. How many times does it turn? Count and try to beat your last score! Good thing your mom love is real.

Favorite TV Show

Be your favorite TV show! Don't just watch it, have your child be the characters. Do what they do. Say what they say. Make up a new episode! Together, you're creating a wonderful world.

Sleep Like A Log

When your child is active each day, she sleeps more soundly at night. A sleeping toddler means you're more rested too! Providing unconditional love everyday can be exhausting.

Activate Her Confidence

Did you know an active toddler is more confident and less shy? Exercise her right so she has a positive spirit! Celebrate the unique child you created.

Be Brainier

Did you know an active toddler has a more active brain? It's true. When they exercise their bodies, they exercise their smarts! Bonus

H2Oh Yes!

Even a toddler needs to stay hydrated when he exercises. So make sure he drinks enough water like the athletes do. Just like your love, your child needs water daily.

Hip Hop Hop

Put on some music with a good beat and have your little one hop on one foot, then the other, then jump to the music. May you and your child always hear the music of love.

Scream Fest

In a big open park, have your child yell while running! Tell her she can only yell as long as she can run. A fun way to let off steam! Moms like screams of delight.

Tic-Tac-Toe

Draw a board on paper. Write an activity in each square like 10 Toe Touches. Your child earns the X or O when he does the exercise! Game on! Pure fun. Pure love.

Scavenger Hunt

At the park, create a list of things for your little one to run and find.

Cool Catch

On a hot summer day, play catch outside with a soaking wet sponge. You and your little one can cool off while you giggle! Capture a memory today.

Balloon Bop

Blow up a balloon and bop it around the room with your toddler. Have her try to catch it or bop it up too! Fit bodies allow your child to fulfill her full potential.

Bubble Pop

Kids love bubbles. Blow a bunch outside and have your little one chase them and pop them! Kids want attention and nurturing and you're giving it.

Infant

Strive For 6

Small meals for small toddlers will help them grow strong. Even though life is so busy, sitting down with your child for 6 meals a week is a beautiful bonding experience. Soak in the memories!

Water Is Wonderful

Teach your child to love drinking water and you'll be a proud, health-conscious mom. And your child will love you for caring.

Good girl! Let's play!

MOMs can say "YES" to swings and trees. Rewarding your child with your time and attention is way more valuable than a soda or candy. Sweet memories are all our little ones need to satisfy their sweet tooth.

Be A Sneaky Success!

Dip apple slices in yogurt. Sprinkle cheese on broccoli. Be creative and get your child to love fruits and veggies! A lifetime love for fruits and veggies is a great mom legacy.

Give Him Vitamin Zzz

Your young child is growing so fast. To recover, he needs 10-13 hours of sleep a day. And it'll help him be an ideal weight too. Snap a photo of your sleeping toddler to share with him later

Positive Energy

When you share a meal with your child, you can tell her important things like "You're such a kind girl!" and "How smart you are!" Positive comments let her know you believe in her.

Be A Proud Mom

When your child is active for 6 hours a day, he's achieving major milestones in his growth and development. And that's all because of you. Imagine how his life will be better tomorrow because of your actions today!

Give Her The Good Life

Play More Weigh Less

Your little one loves to play. It's also good for him. 6 hours of activity a day means less chance of childhood obesity. What will your child remember about your time together today? Ready, set, go!

10x Is The Charm

Yup, it can take up to 10 times for your child to like a veggie. So keep on trying. When he finally smiles, you'll feel so influential! What you do everyday makes a big difference, mom.

Be Sweeter Than Candy

Junk food creates temporary joy for your child. But so can a story hour at the library. Or a piggyback ride. Love is its own reward! And the payoff is a lifetime of happy childhood memories.

Make A Muscle

An active child is a strong child. Strive for 6 hours a day of active play. She'll be the most fit & fabulous on the playground! And you'll be a proud member of the best mom's club.

Water, Water

You can always find a sink or a water fountain at the mall or the park. When your child loves water, he'll never thirst for junk beverages. And you'll always feel in control.

Just 15 Minutes A Day

That's all it takes to share a meal or a snack together. Let the world stop for those precious minutes and bond with your child. 15 minutes today - a lifetime of memories.

Time For Bed

Schedule regular bedtime and naps for your child. 10-13 hrs a day is ideal. That way he can sleep his way to a healthy weight. And you can catch a few moments of mommy time.

Go Out To Eat

Share a brown-bag lunch with your child at the park or on the front porch. Going somewhere new will make your time together special. A few steps for your child but a new world of discovery for you both.

Beans For Breakfast?

Your child doesn't know when he's supposed to eat veggies. So break the rules and sneak in veggies at every meal. New ideas are the trademark of moms like you.

Active Play Every Day

It's so fun for your child to crawl, stand up, sit down, climb the couch, climb the stairs, and chase a ball. Ditch the stroller and let your child discover new worlds.

Crave The Good Stuff

Skip the sweets and teach your child to love apples, carrots, and water. She'll have healthier teeth and a better weight. Now that's love. (And don't you just love it when other moms notice your child's love of healthy things?)

Sleeping Beauty

Children who sleep a total of 10-13 hours a day are less likely to be obese later on. So nighty night, little princess.

Show Your Love

Sharing a meal is its own thanksgiving any day of the year. When you eat with your child, you share a lot more than food. Children who eat with their families have a lifetime sense of belonging.

It's In The Bag

Sure fruit is a good snack, but why not carrots or cucumbers? They travel well and are a perfect fit for little hands. Feeling like a smart mom is in the bag, too.

Candy Doesn't Last

Candy doesn't last forever. Love does. Build your child up with confidence and healthy choices to benefit her for a lifetime. You're a motivational Mom. And your child is watching.

TV Turn-Off

TV ads can teach your child to become an expert in French fries. Instead, take a break and teach him to play catch. Home run for you, mom.

Soda=So Bad

With 10 cubes of sugar in each can, that's loads of sugar for your little one. Water is pure, clean and quite naturally, a good thing. Just another easy way to show the world what a great mom you are.

More Zzzs Please

50% of obese kids are overweight by age 2. It might sound hard to believe, but when your child naps and sleeps 10-13 hrs a day, he's more likely to be a healthy weight. Use the nap break to pat yourself on the back for all you do for your child.

Breakfast Fun Time

Just 10 minutes is all it takes to feed your child cereal and act a little silly. It's a healthy and magical start to both your days. A daily dose of fun that reinvents each new day.

Watch Me Mommy!

When your child is active every day, she'll want to show you all she can do by herself. She's proud. You're proud. Everybody wins. PS: You're amazing.

Zip the lip.

It's tempting to praise children for eating. But don't. Your child has the natural ability to decide how much to eat. Confident and knowing moms like you trust that their child knows how much to eat.

Play Every Day

When your child is active for 6 hrs a day, she can achieve great milestones, like better flexibility and balance. And you can achieve your dream of giving your child a happy childhood. You go, girl!

Think H2O First

Give your child water instead of flavored drink mixes that are loaded with sugar. He'll have healthier teeth and a healthier weight. (And you'll be the envy of the other moms.) Sweet!

Show Your Veggie Love

When your child sees how much you love her, she'll love them too. It doesn't happen overnight, but when it does, it's magic!

Listen While You Munch

Eating with your child is a good time to hear him tell stories or babble with joy. Those darling moments are woven in your child's heart forever, forming a strong sense of love.

Love Is Not A Candy Bar

Instead, be that loving mom who tells her how good she is, how much you love her, and how proud you are of her. That's sweeter. Simple words can change your child's world forever.

The Beauty of Sleep

When your child naps and sleeps 10-13 hrs a day, she has a better chance of being a slim adult. That's good news for good moms like you-moms who do everything they can to make their child's life better.

Together Time

Share just 6 meals together with your child per week, and you'll build a stronger bond and beautiful memories. Changing your child's world begins at the dinner table.

Time Out From TV

Yes, your child loves television. But too much isn't helping him grow strong muscles. Mommy, let's play catch, run around, go down the slide! Mommy, let's make memories!

Feel Free To Love Water

Soda and juice are pricey. But water is free at public water fountains. So it's healthier for your child and your wallet. Who knew that being an amazing mom could be so easy?

Jack & The Bean Stock

Tell a familiar story while you introduce that new veggie to your child. You're the star of your child's life when you give her a lifelong love of veggies.

Looks Up To You

Your child looks up to you. When he's been really good, reward him with your whole heart. That beats a bag of chips every day of the week ;-) It also lets him know just how much you care.

Get A Move On

An active child now means she'll run, catch, jump sooner and faster than her peers. Win her over with 6 hours of active play a day!

Just A Little Sweet

Put just 4 ounces of juice a day in your child's cup and fill the rest with water. It'll still taste sweet to her and you'll know it's healthier. Shower her with extra sweet kisses and hugs instead of sugar-filled juice.

Let's Eat Together!

When you eat with your child at the table, it's a moment to cherish. These are times you'll always remember. And your child too. Someday, your child will want to create the same experiences for her children.

Snuggle & Snooze

Naptime is so necessary for a young child to maintain a healthy weight. So plan regular nap times each day. You might need one too.

Your child craves 6 hours a day of active playtime. So turn up the tunes and dance with her! She'll learn your favorite moves too. Fun times=strong families.

Veggies can seem weird to little kids. It takes many tries for them to like them. But with your patience and love, it's so possible! Love and patience=Wise moms

Sure, Kids Love Candy

But rewarding your child's great behavior with enthusiastic praise or a special trip to the park shows you love him more than candy ever could. Your words have special power, mom.

TV Is A Great Treat

Just not every day. Instead, make sure your child gets 6 hours of active playtime each day. Now that's worth watching.

Even at a fast-food restaurant, your child can enjoy a healthy cup of water. Teach him to enjoy water now and he'll make his own healthy choices later on. And your legacy will continue.

Batteries Charged

Don't wait for your child to wear himself out. A regular nap and full night's sleep is the best way to achieve a healthy weight. Daytime discovery and nap time dreams=happy mom and child.

It Just Takes Two

You and your child are family. So every meal you have together is a family meal. Regardless of how many people are at the table, meals are all about love and memories.

You're A Natural

Give your child a fruit or veggie at every meal and make it as fun and frequent as possible. Other moms are sure to be impressed.

Junk Food Isn't Love

It's just a quick smile. Shower your child with praise for good behavior rather than junk food, and start him off with good, healthy eating that lasts a lifetime. Now that's love.

Keep On Moving

An active child is healthier. She'll reach milestones more quickly and maintain a fit weight. Coach her to a winning lifestyle and enjoy a victory lap, mom. You deserve it.

Sleep = More Smiles

When your child gets enough sleep, he's happier and has a better chance of maintaining a healthy weight. And you can smile too, knowing you're doing right by your child. Win-win for both of you!

1 For You, 1 For Me

Is your child being fussy at the table? Try taking turns as you take bites. That way it's more like a fun game she can play. Fun is the cement that holds families together.

Fill A Fruit Basket

Have your child help you pick out a fruit for each meal. Working together creates a forever bond. It's also a great way for you to know you're helping her be healthy.

Good For You!

When your child is good, show her you love her by choosing a reward that's good for her. A fun game. A coloring book. A silly book. Then reward yourself for being a wise mom.

TV Weighs A Lot

If your child watches a lot of TV, chances are she's not active enough. So turn off the TV and turn on the playtime. Having fun together creates forever families.

Be A Good Sport

Think twice before giving sports drinks to your child. They're loaded with calories, artificial stuff and sugar. Great moms know water is way better.

Naps = Love

One of the best ways to make sure your child has a healthy weight is to make sure she sleeps 10-13 hours a day. He'll be happier and so will you. Isn't cuddling with a waking-up child a special gift of love?

It's All Good

No matter how young your child is, she truly benefits from eating together with you. Daily doses of eye contact and giggles over meals make sweet memories.

What's Up Doc?

If your child likes a bunny cartoon or has a favorite bunny toy, remind him they like to eat carrots too! Invite a stuffed friend to join you for lunch.

Going Going Gone

A candy bar is temporary. But hugging your child and telling her all the reasons she's special makes her believe in herself. Thanks for giving your child the gift of confidence.

Play Your Heart Out

Rather than tuning out with TV, encourage your child to actively play 6 hours a day. The reward for you both is truly amazing! Bonus

Water = Winner

It's what a young body needs. No sugar. 100% healthy. And free! It's the natural choice for a nurturing mom like you.

Your child truly needs between 10-13 hours of sleep + naps a day. She'll be happier and healthier, which will make you feel like the best mom on earth.

Total Togetherness

Whether it's a park bench or a picnic on a blanket, sharing a meal with your child is a special way to show your love. Be fully present and soak in the love.

All Smiles

Make a big smiley on your child's plate. Use grapes for the eyes, a berry for the nose and half a banana for the mouth. Then watch it disappear! (But the memories will linger.)

Junk food is temporary love, but rewarding your child with laughter, warm hugs, and a positive spirit makes for a lasting bond. Start a new family tradition.

Your child loves you and there's nothing like taking a little nap together. Try to make sure she gets 10-13 hours every day. Zzzzzzz…

Yummy Carrots!

Show your child how much you love veggies, and he'll want to mimic you. Be enthusiastic and watch his veggies start to disappear. You do know your child adores you and wants to be just like you, right?

Healthy Start

When your child eats a fruit or veggie at each meal, he's on a healthy track for life. Imagine your pride when he loves peas over fries? Sometimes it takes courage to be the mom you always intended to be.

Junk Food

Junk food can't buy happiness. Teach your child to equate love with sweet moments, not sweet foods. You have the power to instill a lifetime of health and joy.

You Make It Special

Eating together is as natural as breathing. It doesn't have to be a special occasion. Can creating a happy childhood get any easier than eating together and sharing love?
